PENGARUH KOMBINASI MADU DAN LIDAH BUAYA (ALOE VERA) TERHADAP PROLIFERRASI PADA SEL LINE FIBROBLAST NIH3T3: STUDI IN VITRO

Abstract


Madu dan lidah buaya (Aloe vera) merupakan bahan alami yang dapat digunakan segara tunggal maupun kombinasi. Kandungan di dalamnya memiliki sifatnya sebagai anti-microbial, antiinflamasi, antioksidan yang digunakan untuk mencegah penyakit dan mengobati luka. Pemberian madu dan lidah buaya secara in vitro tidak menimbulkan efek toksisitas yang kuat, dan dapat mempercepat waktu penyembuhan luka secara in vivo. Fakta tersebut mendorong untuk dilakukannya penelitian mengetahui efektifitas kombinasi madu dan lidah buaya terhadap proliferasi sel fibroblast secara in vitro. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kombinasi madu dan lidah buaya terhadap proliferasi sel fibroblast NIH3T3 secara in vitro. Penelitian ini adalah eksperimen murni menggunakan desain post-test only with control group design. Uji proliferasi dilakukan pada kultur sel fibroblast NIH3T3 dengan metode MTT assay setelah diberikan kombinasi madu dan lidah buaya. Hasil penelitian bahwa kombinasi 0,5 % madu dengan 50 μg/mL lidah buaya dan madu 0,1% dengan 0.5 μg/mL lidah buaya dapat meningkatkan proliferasi setelah intervensi selama 24 jam. Pemberian madu dan lidah buaya menunjukan tidak terdapat perbedaan bermakna antar kelompok namun terdapat perbedaan bermakna dibandingkan kelompok kontrol. Kombinasi madu dan lidah buaya meningkatkan proliferasi sel fibroblast NIH3T3 secara in vitro.
