Currently, we are entering the era of industrial revolution 4.0. Health is a very important factor for life, so it needs continuous scientific development through scientific studies and scientific symposium. One of the health problem that is closely related in Indonesia is the demographic transition where the number of elderly people will increase in number. So it needs to be prepared to maintain health for the elderly so that they can always live healthy and active lives.

Indonesia’s older population is growing at an unprecedented rate throughout the period of 1990-2020, as well as experiencing an increase in life expectancy from 66.7 years to 70.5 years. The number of older persons in Indonesia is expected to increase to 28.8 million (11% of the total population) in 2020, and 80 million (28.68%) in 2050. The longer the life of a person, the more the person is prone to experience physical, mental, spiritual, economic and social problems. Based on RISKESDAS (Basic Health Research 2013), the diseases found amongst the older persons in Indonesia include hypertension, osteoarthritis, dental-oral problems, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and diabetes mellitus (DM) (MoH of the Republic of Indonesia, 2014). The emergence of various diseases and disorders can lead to functional disabilities in older persons, with more severe conditions requiring the help of others, hence the need for long-term care (LTC). Disability as measured by the ability to perform activities of everyday life or Activity of Daily Living (ADL) affects approximately 51%, with increase in age based on Basic Health Research 2018, the total dependency was around 6%, mostly were found among older persons with stroke 14%). Older person were still independent relatively high (63%). It means that active ageing program should be improved; hence multi-disciplinary and multi sector approach would be highly needed.

Yogyakarta is a region of more than 7 percent elderly residents. According to 2010 population census data, the population of elderly in Yogyakarta is at the age of 70 years that reached 48.2 percent. Society's participation of DIY is quite high against the problems of the elderly, such as the implementation of elderly integrated health services, and elderly family build for elderly families which became a component in the standard health services minimum. In addition, currently the Kota Yogyakarta Government already has several programs for elderly. Those programs include the Healthy Elderly Home, Assisting Elderly Displaced. Meanwhile, the other of public participation for the elderly is the existence of a School of the Elderly. Thus, cross-sectorial efforts to cope with the problem of the elderly are already running at Yogyakarta.

en-US [email protected] (Nazwar Hamdani Rahil) [email protected] (Yahya Pratama Putra) Tue, 19 Nov 2019 00:00:00 +0000 OJS 3.2.1.4 http://blogs.law.harvard.edu/tech/rss 60 ELECTRONIC MEDICAL RECORD OUT PATIENT IN UNIVERSITAS SEBELAS MARET (UNS) HOSPITAL https://prosiding.respati.ac.id/index.php/PIC/article/view/49
The implementation of medical record recording at Universitas Sebelas Maret Hospital (UNS) is still manual so that there are problems in terms of management delays caused by the cumulation in the polyclinic, causing the document to not be immediately managed further after completion of the examination. Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus causes both microvascular and macrovascular complication. One of the active compounds of Centella asiatica (CeA) extract is madecassic acid which acts as an agonist of PPAR-. Through PPAR- activation, CeA enhances the expression of the lipolysis regulator proteins such as perilipin and Angptl-4, reduces NEFA production, prevents meta-inflammation, and increases insulin sensitivity. But no study has been conducted to evaluate the effect of long-term administration of CeA extract on chronic diabetes mellitus. We aim to elucidate the effect of longterm of CeA extract administration on blood glucose levels and lipid profiles in diabetic rats. Diabetes mellitus induced through single dose injection of Streptozotocin 60 mg/kgBW intraperitoneally for 1 month (DM1M) and two months (DM2M). Centella asiatica (CeA)-treated groups (400 mg/KgBW/day) were administered per-orally for 1 month (DM1C) and 2 months (DM2C) to diabetes mellitus rats. After the due date, the rats were sacrificed and the blood was taken from retro-orbital vein to assess blood glucose, cholesterol, triglyceride, and LDL levels. CeAtreated groups significantly diminished blood glucose and cholesterol levels compared to diabetes mellitus groups (p<0.05). Two months but not a month CeA-treated groups showed significantly decreased of LDL level (p<0.05) compared to diabetes mellitus groups. Moreover, the triglyceride level significantly increased (p<0.05) in CeA-treated groups compared to diabetes mellitus groups. Therefore, research on nutrition in ASD children still needs to be done to improve the mental health of people with ASD. The aim of this study was to evaluate the correlation between nutritional status with hyperactive behavior disorder and learning achievement of children with ASD. This research was conducted with a cohort design in 3 months at 4 Surakarta’s Autism Special Schools in 2019 using 38 ASD kids. Data on nutritional status used IMT / U, while data on hyperactive behavior disorders used the Abbreviated Conners Ratting Scale form and data on learning achievement used student learning reports. As many as 73.7% of children have normal nutritional status, 7.9% have poor nutritional status, and 18.4% have more nutritional status. Chi square nutritional status with impaired hyperactive behavior showed p = 0.01, which means that there is a relationship between nutritional status and disorders of hyperactive behavior. While chi square nutritional status with learning achievement shows the results of p value = 0.09 which means there is no relationship between nutritional status and learning achievement of children with ASD. Geriatric or elderly patients are a group of patients at high risk of malnutrition. Determination of the risk of malnutrition can be done through nutritional screening. Both of nutrition screening tools were reported to be accurate. MST (Malnutrition Screening Tool) is a screening tool that is easier, simple and faster, and is reported to have fairly good accuracy. MNA-SF (Mini Nutritional Assessment Short Form) is the most widely used nutritional screening tool and is a good prognostic tool for detecting malnutrition in elderly patients. The aim of this study was to compare the effectiveness of the risk assessment of malnutrition between the two questionnaires if used for geriatric patients. The cross sectional study was carried out on geriatric patients in the Inpatient Room of RSUD dr. Soediran Mangun Soemarso Wonogiri. A total of 50 new geriatric patients treated in the class 3 treatment room were taken as samples. BMI <18.5 kg/m² is used as a standard category for the risk of malnutrition. The relationship between variables was tested by the chi square test. The results of data analysis showed that MST scores ≥ 2 (p =0.025; OR = 4.511) and MNA-SF <12 (p = 0.022; OR = 8.905) were significantly associated with the risk of malnutrition. There were no significant differences in screening results between the two questionnaires (p = 0.081) The effectiveness of MST assessment with marginal probability (p = 0.081) is still below MNA-SF. This action is carried out using coercion, threats, bribery, deception, and even pressure. One in five girls and one in thirteen boys reported having experienced sexual violence worldwide, and the prevalence of sexual violence ranged from 15.3% in girls and 13.8% in boys. This Systematic Literature Review employed two PubMed and Sciencedirect databases during 2008-2018. The stages in this systematic literature review were identifying research questions, identifying relevant studies, choosing relevant studies, conducting critical assessments, extracting data and mapping. There were 767 initial articles identified. This study analyzed 11 articles that met the requirements for reference. Children who experienced sexual violence in their childhood had a severe psychological impact in the form of anxiety, depression, personality disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), psychosis, drug and alcohol abuse, bulimia and suicide. One of the interventions that can be given to infants with LBW is treatment of the Kangaroo Mother Care method. This method is a no-cost therapy that can be done by mothers because not all babies with LBW are able to get health services using advanced technology. The study aims to determine the effectiveness of Kangaroo Mother Care for premature babies. Five stages for scoping review were employed in this review including: identifying the question, identifying relevant studies, mapping data, critical appraisal, analyzing data and extraction data. A total of 10 journals were found and carried out thematic analyzes in the form of scoping review to identify the main points. The researchers classified the main points of the effectiveness of Kangaroo Mother Care for premature babies. There was an effect of KMC on LBW because the KMC method was a supportive treatment carried out by placing the baby in the mother so that direct contact between mother and baby occurred. KMC method had several benefits such as increasing emotional connection between mother and baby, stabilizing body temperature, stabilizing pulse heart rate and breathing and increasing body weight in premature babies.

Keywords: Kangaroo Mother Care, Preterm
Herliyani Dwi Saputri, Dwi Ernawati, Mufdlilah Copyright (c) 2019 Proceeding International Conference https://prosiding.respati.ac.id/index.php/PIC/article/view/83 Tue, 19 Nov 2019 00:00:00 +0000 DETERMINANT OF PREGNANT WOMEN’S PERCEPTION ABOUT PROVIDER INITIATED TESTING AND COUNSELING (PITC) https://prosiding.respati.ac.id/index.php/PIC/article/view/84
HIV transmission from HIV-infected mothers to their babies also tends to increase along with the increasing number of HIV positive women who are infected both from partners and due to risky behavior. CS has short and long term risks that have an impact on women's health and quality of life. The purpose of this systematic literature review was to review the literature on the quality of life of women with a history of cesarean section. Method: Systematic literature review used the PubMed and ProQuest databases with a period of 2008-2018. Result: Among 1529 initial articles identified, there were 10 articles that met the inclusion criteria. The quality of life of women with a history of cesarean section included physical, psychological, social and environmental health. CS had a negative impact on quality of life, and the quality of life of women with a history of CS tended to be lower compared to women who underwent vaginal delivery, especially in the physical health domain. Conclusion: The quality of life of women with a history of CS tended to be lower in the domain of physical health compared to women with vaginal birth history. It is expected that women with a history of CS make efforts to improve quality of life e.g. with physical activity (yoga, jogging, etc.). Healthcare providers are expected to be able to promote vaginal delivery, improve quality and safety in delivery services, and perform services in the form of postnatal home visits especially after CS.

Keywords: Quality of Life, Cesarean section
Nurbita Fajarini Sri Ratnaningsih Ismarwati Copyright (c) 2019 Proceeding International Conference https://prosiding.respati.ac.id/index.php/PIC/article/view/85 Tue, 19 Nov 2019 00:00:00 +0000 EFFECTIVENESS OF USING THE SMART ENERGY METHOD (REIKI) AS AN ALTERNATIVE PREVENTIVE PATIENT HYPERGLYCEMIA DIABETES MELLITUS TYPE 2 https://prosiding.respati.ac.id/index.php/PIC/article/view/86
DM affects many people in the world and is one of the biggest problems for the nation. Some treatments ranging from medical to non-medical (alternative actions) have been carried out by each individual to be able to recover from the disease. Alternative and complementary therapies are therapies that are in great demand by people throughout the world, not least in Indonesia because they are relatively cheap and safe. One alternative therapy that can be done is by the "Smart Energy" Method. Therefore, research on the use of the "Smart Energy" Method as a preventive alternative for reducing blood sugar levels in DM patients is very important. The purpose of this study was to find out and evaluate the effectiveness of using the "Smart Energy" Method as a preventive alternative for reducing blood sugar levels in DM patients. The design used in this study used a pre-experimental method with the one-group pretest-posttest design (before and after) approach. Each research subject becomes control of himself. The research was conducted at the DM Rehab Club. Taking blood samples as well as carrying out the therapy and evaluation is done on the same day. The duration of therapy is ±20-30 minutes and carried out for 30 days with 2 methods namely direct therapy (therapist and respondent are in the same place) and long distance (therapist and respondent are not in the same place) but the principle of therapy remains the same. The implementation of Reiki therapy is assisted by a certified Reiki therapist. There was a significant difference between the examination of blood sugar levels before and after Reiki therapy. The average value of blood sugar levels before therapy is 294 mg / dl while after 30 days of therapy 266,635 mg / dl is obtained. Iron is a very essential mineral needed by the body to help make hemoglobin, process cell division, stimulate brain cell growth, build muscle cells, and strengthen the immune system. Iron deficiency in primary school children has a significant impact on their immune system, cognitive skills, and learning achievement. The objective of this study was to analyze serum iron levels of primary school children in malaria-endemic regions in Seluma Regency, Bengkulu Province. The research design was a cross-sectional study. The research population was primary school children aged 9-11 years old in Seluma Regency Bengkulu Province collected from five subdistricts. The sample size was seventy-nine children collected by using a simple random sampling technique. The research data of this study were obtained from questionnaires (data for characteristics of parents and children), blood tests (data for hemoglobin, TIBC, saturated transferrin, and malaria), and fecal examinations (data for helminthiasis). The data were then analyzed in univariate and bivariate using SPSS. The hematology tests showed that the mean level of hemoglobin was 13.41 ± 2.21 g/dL, serum iron was 43.42 ± 19.88 μg/dL, TIBC was 301.65 ± 65.02 μg/dL, and saturated transferrin was 15.185 ± 8.15%. Based on these laboratory findings, 15.18% of the children were suffering from iron-deficiency anemia, 12.65% were anemia, 49.39% were iron deficiency, and 22.78% were in a normal range. The minimum level of serum iron was found in children with iron deficiency (34.19 ± 10.46 μg/dL). The results of statistical analysis using ANOVA indicated that there was a significant difference (p < 0.05) in the mean level of serum iron among children with iron deficiency anemia, iron deficiency, anemia, and normal range. The blood smears for malaria parasites showed that all children (100%) were not infected with helminthiasis. On the other hand, from the fecal examination, it was shown that twenty-six children (32.9%) were positive with helminthiasis. There was no significant correlation (p > 0.05) between hemoglobin level and helminthiasis. Almost half of the primary school children living in malaria-endemic regions of Seluma Regency, Bengkulu Province are suffering from iron deficiency. However, this condition also creates another problem related to the increasing number of people who suffers from various degenerative diseases, such as dementia, which is now it does not exclusively affect elderly people. One solution to reduce the risk of dementia is practicing habitual activities that involve brain training, like playing crossword puzzle and scrabble. The costs of dementia are staggering. In 2018, they were estimated at $1 trillion worldwide, which is more than the costs of cancer and heart disease combined. Most of the costs are for informal care, to be carried by people with dementia and their family, who take care of them and have to reduce their own productivity as a resulti . High costs are also encountered when carers have burn-out and/or are no longer able to take care of the person with dementia, resulting in institutionalisation. Understandably, older people prefer to stay at home. Research from Maastricht University iihas shown that older people with dementia and their carers also spend most of their time at home. Home needs to be a safe space, to optimise independent living, keep active and engaged, experience well-being and prevent falls. The risk for falls is doubled with dementia, because of changes in gait and contrast perceptioniii . Once older people have falls resulting in fractures, their risk for reduced mobility, prolonged hospitalisation, institutionalisation and mortality increases significantly. Preventing falls in older people, particularly in those with dementia, is thus of the essence. The direct causes of maternal death are hemorrhage (28%), eclampsia (24%) and infection (11%). The indirect causes of maternal mortality are Chronic Energy Deficiency in pregnancy (37%) and anemia in pregnancy (40%). One preventive effort to reduce the problem of maternal mortality in Indonesia is through antenatal care. Antenatal care in the form of prenatal checks to optimize the mental and physical health of pregnant women. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of antenatal care as the effort of early detection of high-risk pregnancy. This Systematic Literature review employed database from PubMed and ScienceDirect during 2014-2018. There were 439 initial articles identified. This study analyzed 6 articles that met the inclusion criteria. In early pregnancy, complications were difficult to detect, so a good antenatal care could be seen from the presence of pregnant women in antenatal visits; the effectiveness of antenatal care and the coverage of antenatal care could effectively detect pregnancy complications earlier. Pregnancy is a normal life cycle that most women must go through, but the normal conditions can threaten the lives of mothers and their babies if complications arise during pregnancy or during childbirth. Therefore, detection of pregnancy complications is very necessary so some efforts can be done to eliminate or minimize complication. It is the second most frequent cancer that occurs among Indonesian women. Tasikmalaya has become the city with the highest cancer rates in Indonesia (Ministry of Health, 2018). The general objective of this study is to describe the factors related to the behaviour of early detection of cervical cancer in women of childbearing age (WCA) in the surrounding area of Singaparna Health Center in Tasikmalaya district in 2018. The research method used in this study was a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The population of this study consisted of 5,760 women of child-bearing age living around Singaparna Health Centre. The sample size was calculated by using the Lameshow formula (1991), resulting in 374 samples chosen. The data were collected by using a questionnaire. Then, the data were analyzed by using univariate analysis method. Husbands’ support mostly belonged to the good category with the frequency of 213 (57%). Similarly, the support of health workers mostly belonged to the good category with the frequency of 220 (58.8%). A small number of participants, precisely 18 people (4.8%), had also carried out early detection tests of cervical cancer. Most husbands and health workers had provided good support in terms of examining cervical cancer. However, only a small number of participants had carried out a test of cervical cancer. For the women of childbearing age, this study suggests that they could actively seek information regarding cervical cancer by consulting directly to health workers to have early detection. Health services should provide access to services for early detection of cervical cancer. Factors that support exclusive breastfeeding were the support of the husband or family, health care, psychological factors, social support and so forth. Overall rates of breastfeeding varied by country and region. Factors influencing exclusive breastfeeding could be seen from two aspects, namely factors that support exclusive breastfeeding and the factors that inhibit exclusive breastfeeding.

Keywords: babies, exclusive breastfeeding, breast milk
Nova Arami, Sri Ratnaningsih, Ismarwati Copyright (c) 2019 Proceeding International Conference https://prosiding.respati.ac.id/index.php/PIC/article/view/169 Tue, 19 Nov 2019 00:00:00 +0000 THE EFFECTIFITY OF HYDROYTHERAPY TOWARDS THE REDUCTION OF LABOR PAIN https://prosiding.respati.ac.id/index.php/PIC/article/view/170
The labor pain is a physiological response, however it can cause catecholamine increase. This can disturb uterine contractions until it can cause uterine inertia, old parturition, oxygen in the fetus is not strong until fetus distress, and also the mother’s death or the fetus if the labor pain is not handled. Therefore, pain management is important for the mother during the labor. The aim of this study was to know the effectivity of hydrotherapy towards the decrease of labor pain. This study was conducted by employing systematic literature review of 12 articles taken from the PubMed and ProQuest databased. Inclusion criteria (articles 2008-2018, Full text, qualitative study design). Critical Appraisal was done with Joanna Brigs. Furthermore hydrotherapy which is treated on the giving birth mother during the active phase is proven effective in decreasing the pain and anxiety, preventing long parturition, decreasing the action of obstetrics such as episiotomy and amniotomy, increasing the prosperity of the mother and the newborn baby, and giving positive labor experience for the mother. According to the IDHS 2017, contraceptive use among married women in Indonesia increased from 60% in 2002-2003 to 63.3%, the highest increase occurred in the use of injectable contraceptive methods, the use of intrauterine devices (IUDs) decreased over the past 10 years. The right method is needed to reduce the birth rate. Contraceptive use is influenced by several factors, namely social and economic demographic characteristics, attitudes related to the structure and formation of the family, factors related to services, family planning service providers and knowledge about contraception and attitudes toward contraception. Whereas, the suitability of contraceptive use is influenced by family planning requests including goals, age, parity and medical history. The method of this study is descriptive quantitative. The analysis used is univariate analysis. The respondents of this study were all active family planning program acceptors, using sampling techniques with a total sampling of 488 active acceptors of keluarga berencana (KB) program. Based on the results of the study, the method of contraception used by respondents showed that injecting was used by 348 people (71.3%), 63 people consumed pill (12.9%), 49 people (10%) for IUD, 23 people used implants (4,7%), 5 people for MOW (1%). Among respondents, there are 307 people in age range 20-35 (62.9%), 169 people are above 35 (34.6%), and 12 people are under 20 (2.5%). The parity of respondents consisted of primigravida with 118 people (24.2%), 340 people (69.7%) are multigravida, and 30 people (6.1%) are grandemultipara. There are 422 of respondents (86.5%) who did not have issue with health and 66 of respondents (13.5%) had issue. Family planning program were delayed for 124 people (25.4%), 248 people (50.8%) limited themselves on the program and 116 people (23.8%) stopped the program. From the suitability of KB use based on analysis of age parity, medical history and family planning goals, it was found that 303 respondents (62.1%) were suitable for using contraception while 185 respondents (37.9%) were not suitable for using contraception. It can be concluded that many injection and pill acceptors still do not fit the criteria and medical feasibility of contraceptive use, namely injecting (76.2%) and pills (23.8%). An untreated malnutrition can increase toddlers and children death rates, decreasing quality of life, disruption of growth, and mental development disorders. For this reason, efforts are needed to restore the nutritional status of malnourished children through appropriate high nutritional feeding. The formula for giving the formula consists of rice, tempeh, tolo beans and catfish (or RASTTLE in Indonesian acronym) towards the recovery of nutritional status of malnutrition toddlers in Tasimalaya sub-district. The study was conducted in four subdistricts in Tasikmalaya sub-district. The study sample consists of 20 toddlers with poor nutrition divided into case and control groups. As many as 10 toddlers got PMT recovery and also got the RASTTLE formula (case group) and 10 toddlers only got PMT recovery without the RASTTLE formula (control group). Respondents in this study were all mothers or caregivers of toddlers who were sampled. The variables measured include the nutritional status of children by using weight / height index. The results showed that before getting treatment, the mean weight and height index of the case group was -2,344 while the index mean of weight and height in control group toddlers was -2.8640. After three months of treatment, the average changes in weight and height index for toddlers who got the RASTTLE formula (case) is up to 1.611, while the in group that doesn't get the RASTTLE formula (control) is up to 0.244. Thus, there is the effect of giving RASTTLE formula for the recovery of nutritional status of malnourished children in Tasikmalaya Regency (p = 0.001). RASTTLE formula can be developed as an alternative formula to help restoring nutritional status in malnourished children. In order for foods made from RASTTLE basic ingredients can be received and consumed by food suppliers, the creation is needed in the food making process and presentation. The formula for giving the formula consists of rice, tempeh, tolo beans and catfish (or RASTTLE in Indonesian acronym) towards the recovery of nutritional status of malnutrition toddlers in Tasimalaya sub-district. The study was conducted in four sub-districts in Tasikmalaya sub-district.
